While We Wait Series

A series born from the view outside my studio window: figures glimpsed pausing at the intersection, sketched from my desk.

Lines drawn by hand on a flat surface are run through a machine and reborn as hazy, three-dimensional forms. The light and shadow are, of course, the product of mechanical calculation—yet what fascinates me is the strange sense of life that emerges from it anyway.

Sculptures, paper, iron, glass, pottery, and more—these are my own prototypes, intended to eventually become tangible products.
